VIA FERRATA
Outstanding landscapes!
Via ferrata is not an overly complicated activity. However, it can be relatively risky if not undertaken in good weather conditions or with the appropriate equipment. If it’s your first time, we therefore recommend tackling via ferrata in Occitania with an instructor. They will have checked the weather, know the escape routes, which sections are feasible or not depending on the group, as well as the little ‘fun’ bonuses (e.g., pendulum jump).
Specific via ferrata safety equipment will be provided: helmets and harnesses equipped with lanyards with shock absorbers. You will progress safely on the cliff, which is equipped with rungs and a cable that will serve as your lifeline throughout the course.
These courses on rock faces are made very fun thanks to aerial monkey bridges, superb zip lines, and impressive pendulum jumps…
Our two flagship via ferrata courses in Hérault are:
- The Thaurac via ferrata located in Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois
- The Vidourle via ferrata located in Saint-Sériès.
