Located in the Béziers hinterland, Rec Grand is known for its crystal-clear water and a series of deep pools where you can jump from up to 7 m. It also features magnificent natural slides that are rare in the region!

The Rec Grand Canyon is an ideal canyon to do with family or friends. Enjoy a breath of fresh air as soon as you arrive, with views over the Caroux mountains.
After kitting you out, a 10-minute walk is needed to reach the two successive slides that will immediately set the tone. Several jumps are possible on this route, ideal in spring or during summer.
Allow 3 hours 15 minutes from car departure to car return. On the way back, a 25-minute walk in the shade of holm oaks is needed to reach your vehicles! A parking area is provided by the site owner (€5/car), with dry toilets and a refreshment stand available.

Description
Located in the Caroux massif, the Rec Grand Canyon overlooks the village of Mons-la-Trivalle. The vegetation is changing, with the gradual appearance of chestnut trees at the entrance to the canyon.
To get you in the mood, two magnificent slides follow one another, ending in crystal-clear pools. The contrast between the granite rock and the water is astonishingly beautiful. This is followed by a series of slides and jumps.
Le Rec Grand is the ideal place to satisfy everyone, explorers and contemplators alike. The adventure ends on a bucolic note, with a 30-minute walk in the shade of holm oaks, through the grandeur of the white granite rocks, such as the Mont Caroux gneiss that surrounds the Canyon.
