Here’s an introduction to our latest new offering: a partnership with the Par 4 chemins association. This collaboration has given rise to a superb canyoning hiking trip in the Cévennes from June 10 to 12, 2022. This project follows a great meeting through the Occigène network and a strong connection between the managers of the two partner organizations.
The Par 4 Chemins association organizes and leads multi-day trekking trips in Occitanie for everyone. Rafaelle, a mountain leader, will give you an extraordinary experience and share her passion for her home region with you.
Le Vigan – Cap de Coste lodge, 10 km and 1,000 m D+
A sporty day hike towards the Col des Mourèzes. The friendly picnic break is a chance to get to know each other. We’ll then reach the Serre de Toureille and its magnificent panorama before heading to the Cap de Coste lodge. A wonderful evening awaits us with the arrival of a herd from Sumène in the middle of transhumance.
Loop to the Orgon Waterfalls, Pic de Barette and André Chamson’s grave, about 11 km and 450 m D+
A new day of hiking (with less climbing): our trail takes us to discover André Chamson’s grave, the summit of Pic de Barrette and its viewpoint, and finally the splendid Orgon waterfalls.
Approach walk and the Orgon Waterfalls canyon
For this last day, we meet up with Toulouse, the canyoning instructor. After a short approach walk (about 1 hour), we set off down the Orgon waterfalls canyoning route (4 hours)!
